Collision Center Team Leader

Team Toyota of Glen Mills is actively seeking a team leader for our Collision Center. Team Toyota is once again growing and this time we are building a brand new, state of the art collision center. While we intend to hire many new faces, the first one on the docket is our team leader. This unique position will have the ideal candidate working directly in the shop leading your team of technicians by working right alongside of them. This is a very hands on position. You will not be turning wrenches but you will be following all jobs assigned to your team through the facility. This state of the art facility will adopt extremely lean processes that will allow us to repair vehicles in the most efficient manner possible.
Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
- Working in the shop with your team to get vehicles repaired correctly.
- Overseeing paint staff, body men/women, parts staff and any other staff assigned to your team.
- Providing a strong wealth of knowledge in collision repair and proper repair techniques.
- Completing payroll weekly for all staff working under you.
- Making sure that the facility is running efficiently and correctly.
- Reporting any building repairs that need to be made immediately to the Maintenance department.
- Opening and closing the Collision Center on a daily basis Working alongside with Human Resources to handle the hiring and firing of staff.
- Making sure all employees in the collision center are working safely
Qualifications
• No less than 5 years of experience in the collision industry.
• Must also have a valid driver license and PA state appraisers license.
• Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
• Must have CCC One experience
This position will provide top pay for the right candidate. We are seeking someone with cutting edge skills that is constantly monitoring the industry and changing with the times. Maybe you are a head estimator that is looking to move to the next level, maybe you are an insurance adjuster that is tired of the grind. You don’t necessarily need to have experience running a shop, but you must know all facets of repairing vehicles. The number one thing you must bring to the table is a great attitude.
